Think twice:Thinking About Becoming a Singer or Rapper?

It’s not as easy as it seems to become the next big star. We all have seen the lavish lifestyles some celebrities flaunt around. With newbie rappers and singers only seeing dollars signs, they are jumping into an industry that is strictly about business. With the advent of reality TV, it seems like anyone can become a star over-night. But the reality is that it takes hard work and dedication to become successful in this industry. Many of your favorite artists have sung and performed for years before "breaking in" to the business. Others pounded the pavement with demos or building a strong support system. However, just trying to get music executives to listen to your work is impossible.

With all of this being said, I cannot wait to share tips and other artists experience with being successful in this industry. Remember, things are never as easy as they seem.

Scientists Answered:The Season of Deadly Tornadoes

First, our prayers goes out to all of the people that experience this year disaster tornadoes. This has been one of the storming years of tornadoes touching down. The La Niña may be able to help us understand the reason for all of this. La Niña is defined as unusually cold temperatures in the eastern equatorial Pacific sea surface. When combined with the warmer temperatures in the Gulf of Mexico, the trapped air begins to rotate horizontally between the two air masses and a tornado is formed. The difference between La Niña and an "average" tornado is that La Niña distinguishes itself by exceedingly colder ocean temperatures and a more vigorous jet stream. Scientists have concluded that this may be the reason for the record number of tornadoes we've seen this spring.
