Independent artists, media, and music lovers turned out en masse for the 2nd Annual Salute Tha DJs Awards Show. Young Joc and Young Money Lil Chuckee were presenters at the awards show. Some of the celebrity performers included D4L, Party Boyz, and newcomers Young Chris, AJ and Carl Brown (aka Mr.314). R&B artist AJ brought some excitement when he jumped into the audience and serenaded a few of the ladies. All of the indie artists did a good job keeping the crowd entertained.
The DJs, photographers, and ladies in the entertainment industry were recognized for their hard work. We all know it's no such thing as a goodnight rest in this industry, while I know this for a fact. The producer of Salute Tha DJs Lady Shack was caught off guard with an emotional tribute as the audience chanted her bestfriend name, who passed away.
We believe in positivity here, so all I will say about the nonsense that occurred at the event is Raz B never made it on the stage. The host of the show was in rare form as he kept the show together. It was good event overall.
